Founder & Lead Instructor Tanya McFall Major
Mrs. Tanya McFall-Major is a wife, an entrepreneur, a communications consultant, and an advocate for women empowerment and youth development.
She was one of the first Bahamians to receive the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI), a former President Barack Obama fellowship. Additionally, she is a facilitator of the Academy of Women Entrepreneurs (AWE). This White House-led Women's Global Development and Prosperity Initiative equips women with the practical skills to create sustainable businesses and enterprises.
She has held many positions, including the first female vice president of International Affairs for the Bahamas National Youth Council, youth representative for the United Nations Education Science and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO). She has worked on communication projects with UN agencies, inclusive public health, and migration.
Her favorite Scripture is Proverbs 18:16, "A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men."

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I attend the classes online? As the Preparation sessions are hybrid learning sessions, students will participate in online self-study and will meet with skilled teachers weekly.
Where will classes be held? Class will be held online.
Will there be a payment plan? Yes.
Will we be given a schedule of topics/classes? Yes, the subjects include Mathematical Reasoning, Language Arts, Social Studies and Science.
Can I take the final exams online? Currently, the exams will be held at The University of The Bahamas, Nassau Campus.
Is there a minimum age to enroll? Must be 18 years or older, if not a consent form must be signed and returned by the second week of classes.
How soon after completing exams would I receive my results? Results are usually available on the same day.
How would I receive my diploma? An electronic diploma will be made available after successful completion. Interested participants can also receive their diploma at graduation.
Even though I have completed a Bachelor’s Degree can I get a GED as well? A GED credential is proof that you have U.S. high-school level academic and English skills. It isn't necessary to obtain a GED if you have a Bachelor's Degree.
Is there an age limit? There is no age limit.
Can I use the GED to put on my resume for a job in The Bahamas? As the GED is accepted around the world, no hindrances are expected.
Is this the same as The Bahamas’ GED? No, this is a different program.
